Social Support & Recovery Counsellors
GCH has staff trained to provide critical incident defusing and debriefing to communities and workplaces impacted by a traumatic incident. Critical Incident Stress Management is a structured response to a community or workplace incident and involves defusing and debriefing with the people involved in the incident by a team of 2 or more counselors or people trained in CISM.
Emergency Response is implemented in the event of DHS or local governement activating their emergency plan. It may only be activated by direct contact from DHS or the Shires to the 4 coordinators on our Emergency Response Plan
