Acquired Brain Injuries
Respite:
This program is a regional service and works in close collaboration with the Carer Respite Centre.
The program is for:
- Voluntary Carers of people with an ABI, who live in the same house as their carer
- Carers who provide support to people assessed as having moderate to severe ABI, particularly when there are cognitive disabilities or behaviour management issues
- Under 65 years of age
Carers Initiative ABI Flexible Funding (Regional)
The target group for the Carers Initiative ABI Flexible Funding program is:
- Voluntary carers of people with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), who live in the same house as their carer
- Carers who provide support to people assessed as having moderate to severe ABI, particularly where there are cognitive disabilities or behaviour management issues
- Under 65 years of age
This program is a regional service and will work in close collaboration with the Carer Respite Centre - Central Grampians on a regional basis.
The maximum funding allocation per person is $1,000 per consumer.
This funding is auspiced to the Grampians Community Health, 40-44 Wimmera Street, Stawell 3380.
The Central Grampians Linkages Program will process applications and manage brokerage funds ($19,974 ABI Respite Funds).
